"Skies are crying. I am watching, catching tear drops in my hands."

Dawn winced to herself as blow after blow was inflicted onto her precious Pokemon team. Her breath was quickening as she could barely handle the pressure of loosing the battle, loosing her cool in speeds she didn't know existed.

"Only silence as it's ending, like we never had a chance."

The audience, for once in her journey throughout Hoenn this Ribbon Season, was silent as death. Their fear, possibly, matching hers. Her eyes scanned for a last resort.

"Do you have to make me feel like there's nothing left of me?"

Another wince was brought out by the fall of her Mamoswine. She stopped breathing momentarily, frozen in place by seemingly nothing, but everything inwardly crushing her soul to fragments. Her mouth and throat formed a single word of objection and pleading as she involuntarily took a half step forward.

"You can take everything I have, you can take everything I am."

The loud booming voice of the announcer called out for questioning on Mamoswine's health briefly as Dawn continued trying to breathe. Nothing functioned properly, and the breif seconds passed like hours in her eyes, slow and seemingly still. Who was she facing again? What was everyone whispering about?

"Like I'm made of glass. Like I'm made of paper."

Everything snapped back to reality in the quickest moment she had ever experienced as she stared out at the battlefield and felt the sensation of air entering her lungs. Mamoswine, shaky and obviously weak, steadied back up and stood proudly.

"Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground. Like a skyscraper."

The immense joy she felt was unmatched as a new confidence filled her soul and swelled throughout her heart. She called out moves like they were the back of her hand, familiar and friendly, and kept shooting them across. Her dazzling spirit emanated off her so radiantly that it effected all those around her. The opponent of hers would be no match for the beauty of her strength, as she was no longer afraid to show it. Because as long as her Pokemon would continue fighting for her, she would continue fighting for them.

"Like a skyscraper."
