"Ok" She followed him up the back stairs and to the Head Boy/Girl dorm.Lily and James had been best friends ever since they first met in their first year, along with Sirius, Remus, and Peter,of coarse.He led her to the highest tower and turned to face her.
"Lily, Leslie and Felica have really taken a liking to our group.They want to be our friends" James said.
"Great!" exclaimed Lily happily.
"But...." James trailed off.
"Yes James" Lily said.
"They-want-me-to-dump-you-because-they-only-want-to-be-friends-with-Sirius- Remus-Peter-and-I. So,-Lily,-this-is-goodbye" he spoke this really quickly and when he finished his sentence he ran out of the room.
Lily sank to the floor crying.She had lost her friends,and to who? A couple of popular snobs.
As Lily lay in bed that night she thought of back home.She thought of her old school and how she had just got a position on the cheerleading squad when she had to leave for Hogwarts.Cheerleading!That was it! Tomorrow she would ask Dumbledore permission to start a squad.Surly,James would flip at the uniforms Lily had in store.She would win him bacK! She had to.

She walked out to the lake and sat down. She was startled when she heard a voice from behind her.Usually everyone at Hogwarts slept in.She turned to face a girl she had never seen before. She had violet eyes and soft,curly blonde hair. Lily had never seen such a girl at Hogwarts.
"I'm Adara Brown.I transferred from Canada" she said.
"Nice to meet you" I said.She must of caught me staring at her clothing because she laughed.She was wearing short black skirt and a tight baby-blue top. It was late fall!
"I came from the Northwest Territories.It's very cold there so here it's like Summer to me" she said.They two became fast friends.When they were talking about their Muggle schools Lily remembered about cheerleading. She told Adara and asked her if she wanted to join.She agreed then went to go ask Dumbledore with her.
