Chapter One: The Beginning (so origonal eh? lol!)
I'm Kagome Higurashi(I know its wrong but I'm guessing, its like longer) and it was an uber-boring day in Fudal(sp?) Japan. We had just had an encounter with the evil priestess, Kikyo. Inuyasha was shaken up because I almost got killed. I still remember it. "Inuyasha!!!" I cried at the top of my lungs. "Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled as he tried to grab my hand. We both shed tears as we slowly grew further and further apart from eachother. I fell quicker down the hole in the earth, thinking it was the end. "Inuyasha, now it's us together!" Kikyo grinned evilly. "Never!! If Kagome goes, I go with her!!!" Inuyasha slid down the hole. Kikyo had but a choice to save us both, as we were clung together like honey on fiber-glass. She quickly sped off the second she closed the hole. It was scary for both of us. I almost lost my life, Inuyasha risked his own for my sake. Sometimes if he thinks of me as a friend or a sibling...or more maybe. I glared at him as he dipped his feet into the hot springs. I wanted to ask him how he felt but that would be moving too fast I guess. One of us had to speak sometime. Miroku caught me looking at him and looked at Sango who was holding onto her boomerang, her eyes slightly closed. Shippo and Kirara were just sitting in the shade. I finally spoke up. "So, that little Kikyo encounter was scary, hum?" I moaned, trying to seem alive somewhat. My leg hurt, I could hardly feel my arms. "It was hardly little..." Inuyasha groaned as he took his feet out and stood up. I watched him closely as he leaned back on the tree. Miroku grinned evilly at both of us. "What?!" me and Inuyasha yelled at the perverted monk. "Ok this is like a play, written out very cheesy by a romantic writer. The girl has feeling for the guy but she hides them by making everything he does for her seem so small. Then the guy likes her too but he's all mean, even though when the girl is in trouble he like lends her his life." Miroku said. It scared me because it sounded so true. Maybe I did like him and he did a lot for me...but I made it seem like nothing at all. Inuyasha disliked being told like a story so he took action. "I only saved her because she can sense the shards." Inuyasha insisted. That ticked me off. "Excuse me? Is that all I'm worth to you?! Some stupid shards which you're going to hold agenst me in the end anyway?!" I yelled. Inuyasha sighed. "No!!" he yelled. "Fine use me for your own personal gain. I thought that save was out of friendship you...mutt! You mutt with no father or mother and a retarded brother! You're an...an...orphan!!" I yelled as I ran to the well and jumped down. Inuyasha stormed off after me. "They're at it again..." Shippo groaned. Miroku, Sango and Kirara nodded. I ran inside and Inuyasha ran inside after me. "I didn't mean what I said!" "Then what exactly did you mean, Inu-Yasha?!" "I wasn't going to go and say 'Oh I saved Kagome cause' I love her!" "Who asked you to?" "Nevermind." "Answer me, Inuyasha!" "Drop it!" "Bite me!" "Stupid girl." "Leave my house NOW!! You aren't being straight forward with me." I said, ending the long conversation of quick answers. I ended up going back with him. Instead of telling the others that we were going, we just walked right past them in a quick pace. Finally, Miroku's pathetic whining about stopping got to Inuyasha's head so we decided to sleep by another hot spring.
