PHIL POV

I stretched my arms and rolled over to check my phone. 9:47. I yawned. I rolled over to the other side and wrapped my arms around Dan's warm body.

"Morning love," I whispered quietly. I knew he wasn't going to be awake but I like -

"Morning," Dan replied, turning around to face me. He looked kind of pale.

"Wow, it's earlier than 12 and you're awake! Whhaaa?" I joked, pecking him on the lips.

He smiled but didn't laugh. "Not my fault I'm nocturnal," he said, entangling his fingers into my hair, and pulling me into a longer kiss.

"I missed you," Dan said quietly.

"Missed me?" I chuckled slightly, pushing one of Dan's hobbit hairs away from his eyes.

"I missed you while I was sleeping," Dan replied. He entwined our fingers together, momentarily distracted. "You know."

"Not really," I said.

"I just wanna spend every second of my life with you," Dan said, his eyes watering slightly. "I miss you if I'm not."

"I was right next to you, you doofus," I giggled.

"Yeah but I wasn't conscious," Dan said. "You're the best thing which ever happened to me, and if I could stay conscious my entire life just so I could spend every second with you, I would." A single tear was dripping down his face.

"Awh Dan," I said, wiping away the tear, and but feeling my eyes water up too. "That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." I kissed him, lifting his head up and making him look me in the eye. He has the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes, but whenever I mention it he blushes and looks away. "I love you."

"I love you too," Dan replied, gently leaving a trail of kisses down my jawline. He moved into a spoon-shape, and I copied, and it wasn't long until we had both fallen asleep again.

When I finally got up, I noticed the lack of Dan in my bed. "Dan?" I called. No response.

"Daaaan?" I called again, my voice wavering out of my nervousness. I jumped out of bed after a couple of seconds of silence, and ran into the kitchen.

I saw him by the stove flipping some pancakes. I breathed out loudly. "You scared the life out of me Dan," I said, wrapping my arms around his stomach and pressing a kiss onto his cheek.

"Sorry I didn't hear you," Dan said, turning around to give me a hug. "Pancakes?"

"Yum," I said, reaching my finger out to the golden syrup.

"Nu-uh, not happening," Dan said, catching my finger. "And you're not getting any pancakes until your dressed."

I looked down at my pyjama top which is slightly too small and my slightly too long Superman pyjama bottoms.

"But these are comffyyyyy," I moaned, pouting, and wrapping my arms tighter around Dan.

"Why are you so cute?" Dan said, beaming. He put one of his arms under my legs, and the other on my back, and lifted me upwards. "Now you're like a baby."

"Shut up!" I said, laughing. I tried to reach towards his neck, but he dodged out the way, and ran into my bedroom, still holding me tightly.

"Three, two, one," Dan said, as he raced into my bedroom. "FLY!" he said, throwing me into the bed.

I was flying through the air for only a matter of milliseconds, but it was still amazing. I lay on my checked duvet covers, in fits of giggles. "Come here, you big meanie," I grabbed his arm and pulled him on top of me. I wrapped my legs around him like a koala. Before I was even able to, he pressed his lips onto mine, brushing through my hair with his fingers.

"I - " I began.

"I love you too," Dan said, cutting me off, and snuggling down underneath our covers.

That's why I love Dan. He knows what I want before I do. He knows what I'm going to do before I do it. He knows what I'm going say before I speak it. The love is there and no words need to be spoken, nothing needs to be done. The love is combined with the atoms, always hanging in the air and it never leaves.
