Watch the Wynd

Wynd watched the strange figures as they slipped around her home. She listened, confused as they debated the state of the void and the room. She listened until she heard a voice. The Voice. The one who says her words. The words to save her, to take her away.

The wind howled loudly by as the group found their way into the room. A silent, black void yawning endlessly staring them on the face. None of the people moved, to shocked at the appearance of the void and the desolation surrounding them. A sharp crack, quickly followed by the screaming pitch of the wind startled them all out of their reverie. And then they heard it...
