It was a crisp, cool warm autumn day in Arrendale City. Momma (Elsa) was cooking something in the kitchen, while I was in my parent's room. Well at least mommy's room, for now. Daddy went off to war last year, and I miss him so much. I just hope he's safe, and will return soon. I was sitting on their bed, writing in my notebook. It was a letter, for daddy.

Dear Daddy,

Mommy and me miss you really much. Please come soon! I wish you didn't have to go with those big strong army guys with guns and scary sharp thingies.

Be safe!

Love, Annie (Pretend it's in a first grader writing)

We were both watching TV at the same time, my favorite show on my Ipad- My Little Pony Friendship is magic. Pinkie Pie is my personal favorite. I sighed as Olaf nuzzled is cute little face into my chest. I kissed his furry head, which he loved.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. "Annie?! Please get the door! Make sure you know who it is!" Olaf jumped off of my lap and scampered downstairs. The front door was opened, since momma said to let some fresh breeze in. I saw Olaf's tail as he went outside. I heard laughter. It certainly wasn't Olaf. Maybe someone was here…

"Annie? Who is it?" Mom asked still in the kitchen. I creaked open the door. I gasped. "Daddy!" I exclaimed jumping up and down. Olaf pounced on daddy, giving him multiple hugs and kisses. Daddy looked the same, except for his army uniform. He still had his tousled white hair and his cute smile.

"Hold on Olaf, that's enough. I missed ya too buddy." Dad chuckled trying to get Olaf off of him. Olaf stopped once he saw a rabbit, and went off to chase it. "Daddy!" I ran over to him. He smiled once he saw me and wrapped his arms around me. He threw me in the air and caught me again, like we used to do. "Hey kiddo."

"I missed you so much!" A waterfall of tears started to form from my eyes and I just couldn't keep it in. I know I'm six years old, and I'm a big girl. Big girls don't cry. But I couldn't help it. Daddy didn't care either.
