Relative Realism

"Well," drawled Teshigawara as the scene of Mei and Kouichi in the graveyard faded to black and the credits began to roll, "there's no way we aren't winning the film festival with that."

There was a murmur of agreement around the room except for Kazami, who was doing a valiant job of holding in his laughter. However, Akazawa's calculating gaze was able to see right through him.

"What exactly is so funny?" The twin-tailed redhead was gazing sternly at the bespectacled boy.

"I'm sorry but some of those deaths were hilarious. Sakuragi getting impaled by an umbrella, Takabayashi's convenient heart attack and that amazing scene where Kenzou escaped the chandelier only to be killed by a pillar moments later." He cut himself off and began laughing earnestly. Sakuragi and Sugiura let out giggles and Teshigawara joined Kazami in his laughter as Akazawa seethed in place.

"What did you guys think?" Mochizuki asked his two companions.

Kouchi shrugged. "I think it came out pretty well. If anything, the effects should help us score a prize."

"I think Sakakibara-kun and I should have kissed," Mei mumbled. She went unheard.

"Okay, so it had some ridiculous deaths and a few far-fetched plot points," Teshigawara said fairly after everyone had calmed down. "However, you have to admit it does have some vivid realism as well, such as how how feminine Mochizuki is or how bad Akazawa wants Sakakibara's di-mmmph!"

Mochizuki sweatdropped as he saw Akazawa smother Teshigawara with her pillow. The boy tumbled backwards into her bed and she straddled him as she continued to suffocate him.

"Shouldn't we stop this?" Kouichi asked.

"No. Naoya's tough. I'm sure Akazawa won't kill him anyway," Kazami said casually as he exited Akazawa's room.

"The most realistic thing about it is how much of an idiot you are!"

"MMMPH!"

The rest of the group ignored Teshigawara's pleas as they left Akazawa's room. Mochizuki looked back and chuckled weakly. Mei ignored Teshigawara altogether.

Kouichi paused at the doorway. "Izumi-san, please make sure you don't kill him."

Akazawa pulled the pillow away as she blushed. "Of course not, Kouichi-kun."

"Of course you stop the moment Sakakibara says something. Like I said, you totally w-mmmph!"

"Shut up!"

Sighing, Kouichi left the room, closing the door behind him.

A/N: Because as much as I enjoyed Another, I found myself laughing at half the deaths. Reviews feed my weakening soul. Constructive criticism is always welcome and thank you for reading!
