Her eyes widen as she sees the blue box materialize from no where. She knew she had heard the familiar sound! She hurries down the stairs to meet the familiar man. Swinging the door open the two stare at each other. She had grown older but he seemed to have grown younger. She studies his new face and smiles. "Doctor," she greets him simply letting him into her house. "Ms. Jones," he responds following her to the kitchen. She chuckles lightly correcting him. "It's Mrs. Smith now." The doctor smirks looking around at the family photos on the wall. It shows his two former companions smiling in front of a fake blue background. "So, what do I owe the pleasure of this house call?" she asks moving around the large kitchen to make the two some tea. "I'm in need of a new companion," he says bluntly. He watches her silently waiting for the moment the words will set in and she'll run with him to his blue box and have adventures again. He has been so lonely since Amy and Rory left. She moves quietly until she is sitting across from him with two steaming cups between them. She smiles gently a smile placed softly on her lips. "Silly old man,' she whispers shaking her head. He frowns sensing things were not going as he planned. "Do you see the child in that photo?" she asks pointing at the portrait the doctor was looking at earlier. "I can't leave him doctor." She says looking back at the doctor watching his face as he realizes she's not going with him. "But we can be back by morning," he pleads a moment of weakness she's never seen in the old man. "Doctor we both that's not true," she says taking his hands in hers. "Stay with us for breakfast?" she offers watching the man attempt to hide his let down. He shakes his head and stands plastering a smile on his face. "I've got people to save and daleks to stop," he says pulling the woman into a tight hug. "Give Mickey and the little one my best!" And with the slam of the door he's gone.
