I cannot tell you how it felt,
how what you to me did made my heart melt.
I didn't feel your precious gift,
but knew you had given to me anyhow.
I don't know if I can ever thank you.
Because it was your gift that took me from this place,

without ever having seen my face.
You came into my life so fast,
and erased my past.
Made me understand that there was more to life than hate.
You made me love you and question my own fate.
I never expected to find someone to call my own,
yet here you stand in front of me, telling me you love me.
The gift you gave me took me from this place,
And you gave it to me without ever seeing my face.
The gift you gave me,
made me understand that we could be.
I know what the future holds for me,
and I hope you understand what your gift meant to me.
The kiss you so willingly gave,
Will last me until I'm in my grave.
I never thought love would find me,
