All of it started with a war.
Like literally, all of it, when you'll think it through. Every little piece of my so-called happiness, every good memory, every laugh, every smile, every kiss and just… all of it. Sometimes I just can't believe it really happened and I think about it as about one of my impossible dreams. But still, it was a war – and wars are usually bloody, frightening and painful, and this one wasn't an exception. So… I guess I'm just mad. I've got to be mad, I want to be mad. No sane person after everything she's been through, after everything she saw and she did… no normal person would consider this period as the happiest time of her life, for god's sake.
But I kinda do. Yeah, I know what you're thinking; that I've lost my mind. I don't know, maybe. A war's still not over yet, so perhaps everyone is still a little bit crazy. But I'm trying be positive, you know. And as much as I will always link this battle with the most important things I've ever experienced, I hope… I'd like to have hope we'll finish this soon. I have no idea how, and I have no idea who's gonna do it, but it won't last any longer. It's only matter of time, I'm sure of it.
So, I'm just sitting here right now and I'm wondering how to start it. Well, let's just say; everything started two years ago, when I was at Hogwarts and I joined to the Order of the Pheonix. I learned how to fight, then graduated with the best grades and became a warrior. But I guess it's not enough, though. It doesn't include the most important thing. Then how about…

A/N: I know it doesn't make any sense, but please, at least try to give this... thing a chance. And speaking of things, here I'm explaining some of them: this story's gonna be from Marlene's POV, but it's also kind of diary. The action starts 1979, so it's two years before what you've just read. Yes, Sirius is one year older than Marlene. And yes, she can study at Hogwarts and be a member of the Order at the same time.
