The Handsome Stranger
I knew help wasn't coming. I knew running nor would screaming help. I felt my strength fading. I knew the forest would take my soul. The all. Went. Dark.
I woke up with a headache on a marble floor. I had no idea where I was. I had no idea what happened. All I remember was running through the forbidden forest then sinking. Where am I? I wondered. Right as I started to stand, a door slammed opened. It was a door that was metallic looking. A very handsome stranger stood in front of me.
"Who are you and why are you on my castle floor?" He said.
"I-I-I'm Silvia. I have absolutely no clue how or why I am here." I stuttered in reply. I saw that he had dazzling blue eyes and short golden hair with not a single whisker upon his face.
"Well as long as you're here you might as well be comfortable. Now lets get you something to wear." He said as his eyes scanned my body as if I am something he found in the dumpster. I look down at myself and realized that's exactly how I looked. My once purple blouse was not a brown and gray tattered piece of cloth that barely covered me. My shorts were just strands. Before I realized what was happening a beautiful dress was in front of me. It was silk and lavender with little gold designs in the bodice and a beautiful sweetheart neckline. It was my size and everything!
"Now for your room arrangements, you will follow Stell." He said interrupting my thoughts. Right as I looked up a young woman was by my side ready to escort me to my room.
I walked up the granite stair case to a wide set of double doors. The doors were old wood that did not match the splendor of the rest of the palace. I was expecting an old servants room behind them but to my surprise I was so wrong. It was a vast room with a king sized bed that had golden sheets and a white pillow. There was also a vanity with drawers to hold make up and accessories in. I was in heaven! Then I heard the hoofs outside. I ran to the grand window that lead out to a balcony. I stood and watched knights in black armor come charging toward the castle. One of them looked up at me.
"HER! SHE IS UP ONE THE BALCONY! GET HER!" He screamed as the broke down the front doors. Before I could understand, I was grabbed from behind with strong hands with an iron grip. I knew I wouldn't be able to escape. A cloth was stuffed in my mouth and a sack was placed over my head. I couldn't see and could barely breath. I was terrified. What have I done to anger them. I haven't even been awake for an hour. I knew whatever my fate was to be, I didn't want to be alive to see it.
