Preface

I never really thought it was possible that of all people I would fall in love just like that, but it was bound to happen sometime. The first moment I laid eyes on her; I was breathless. The way she smiled reminded me so much of her mother, Bella. It wasn't really a surprise how her mother took the news of me imprinting on her newborn child. I wonder how she would react if I asked for her daughter's hand in marriage…

Chapter 1

A Big Step

"Come on you can do this man, get a grip." I thought to myself. I stuck my hand in my pocket gripping the little ring box I had. Knowing Bella she would have a spasm if I asked for her daughter's hand in marriage. I felt a tingle down my spine, but I guess I was just so nervous about getting the, as I called it "Game Plan" right. All I had to do was pick up Nessie like I normally did on Friday's and take her to beach. When we could finally be alone then I could make my move. Lucky for me the whole Cullen Clan besides Blondie, Nessie, and the "Big Guy" Emmett were visiting some other bloodsuckers in Denali.

I phased quickly and ran. It wasn't long before I approached the Cullen's house. I could sense Leah trailing behind not minding her own business. "Come on Jacob", she said. I thought back with anger, "Get Away Leah I don't need you stalking me all the time". She didn't answer. Then she said in a rough voice, "I'm not stalking you Jacob I just thinking it's a mistake to marry a bloodsucker". I was annoyed now! I corrected her in a harsher tone then before, "Leah! Her name is Renesmee, she's half human; half vampire, she's a sweet girl, and I LOVE HER!"

Leah being her annoying-stubborn self ran away without even answering me. In my opinion I think that was the smartest choice she had ever made.

I quickly phased back to human and put my clothes back on. Making sure the ring box was still in my pocket; I approached the door. Before I could ring it Blondie opened the door and said gritting her teeth to come in. I wanted to sound polite seeing it soon I will be family to her. Family gatherings are going to be fun. I can just picture it now, The Sexy Beast vs. Dumb Blonde. I snickered to myself. She gave me a glance and turned away.

Before I could take a step further Nessie was jumping in my arms. "Jake!" she said very cheerfully. I replied in the same tone trying to mimic her; "Nessie!" I paused then continued, "So you ready to go?" She let out a squeal, which I knew, meant yes. Before the "Big Guy" and Blondie could question my quickness, I scooped Nessie up and ran out the door.
