Another original "Thomas" story, this time it's "Harvey's Big Mistake" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
It was winter time on the Island of Sodor, and all the engines were working their hardest, plowing snow off the tracks to make them safe.
One morning, Sir Topham Hatt arrived at Tidmouth Sheds. He looked very worried.
"Henry has broken down." he said. "Harvey has been sent out to rescue him, but I need another engine to help him out."
Thomas decided to help Harvey out.
"That's a good engine. Now Percy, you will need to follow after Thomas in case he breaks down. The tracks are very slippery, so be careful."
"Yes sir!" said the two engines as they puffed away.
Sir Topham Hatt was right. The tracks were very slippery. Percy and Thomas had to take their time.
At last, they approached the docks. Henry was there, but not Harvey.
"Where is he?" asked Thomas.
Henry looked very concerned.
"Harvey was supposed to be here a few minutes ago." he said. "But I've been stuck here all night, and tonight's there's going to be a massive snowstorm. I need help and fast!"
"Don't worry." said Percy. "When Harvey arrives, we'll be there to help you."
"That's great!" said Henry.
Just then, Harvey arrived.
"I'm here to rescue you Henry!" he said.
Then, there was trouble. Harvey's crane was going crazy, and the crane bumped into Thomas, then Percy, and then attached itself to Henry, making him go high into the sky, still attached to the crane!
Harvey's driver went over to talk to Thomas and Percy's firemen.
"There's a problem with the crane machine." he told the firemen.
"Well, you better hurry." said Thomas's fireman. "There's going to be a big snowstorm tonight!
"We'll try our hardest." said Harvey's driver.
Harvey's driver went back and attempted to lower Henry back down to the ground again. It took a while, but at last Harvey's crane worked and Henry was lowered back to the ground.
"Thank you Harvey!" said Henry. "You rescued me just in time. It's starting to snow!"
Everyone tooted their whistles loudly!
