''Hello, Bambi.'' Faline said as Bambi turned and accidentally faced her nose-to-nose. She blinked. Bambi went backwards in surprise until he fell over a mound of snow and fell. ''Hi, Faline.'' He stick his hoof up and waved at her.

Faline giggled. ''I almost didn't recognize you.''

Bambi leaped back to his feet. ''Really? I-I guess it's because my spots are almost gone.'' He took a look at his spots. ''A-And my antlers are coming in too.'' He showed his head forward and Faline looked. ''Can you see 'em?''

''Well,'' Faline began.

''I don't see anything.'' Thumper saved her from answering to Bambi. ''Well I don't.'' And Bambi glared at him.

''Oh, I'll never be afraid again.'' Groundhog sang and then, a male deer jumped into his way. ''Boo!''

Groundhog screamed and ran back, running into all animals, and ending up in his cave. Everyone 'aww'ed.

The buck laughed. ''It looks like I scared the shadow right out of him!'' He turned to others. ''Hey, did you see the look on his f-'' He stopped, and saw everyone were leaving. ''Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, whoa, whoa, HEY!'' He ran in front of the deer's, splashing snow at Thumper and Flower. ''Where are you two going? Forest on fire?''

''Not again…'' Faline rolled her blue eyes.

''Who are you?'' Bambi asked.

''The name's Ronno, and these are the boys… '' Ronno stuck his antlers into a tree. ''Stab… and Jab!'' He ended up falling to the ground as snow fell to him.

''Well, I hope you three have a nice day.'' Faline smirked a bit, as she and Bambi walked past defeated Ronno in the ground, who was glaring at them.

''Oh, I wouldn't go that way if I were you, Faline.'' Ronno got up, and shook the snow off him. ''That's where I saw a man.'' He added.

They stopped. ''You saw a man?'' Bambi's eyes went wide.

''Uh-huh.'' Ronno turned to look at them and leapt. ''There I was, out in the meadow.'' He began. Faline rolled her eyes again. ''Suddenly, I heard his voice, luring me in.'' He used a stick near Bambi's ear. ''I'm here. I'm here.'' He spat. ''See? Man's got this stick, so he can make his voice sound like one of us.'' He flattened his ears against his head. ''But I'm way too smart for that. So I crept up on him, really quiet.'' He attacked a tree branch. ''Then BAM! I knocked him out with my trusty antlers.'' He got hit by the branch in return. He spat out the cones in his mouth.

''That was quite a story, Ronno.'' Faline smirked as the older buck walked back to them.

''Oh, you think so?'' Ronno seemed happy, and sticked his head up.

''Mhm, that was… unbelievable.'' Faline nodded.

''Yeah, unbelievable.'' Bambi repeated. A frown came to Ronno's face.

''You calling me a liar!?'' He shouted.

''No.'' Bambi said.

''You wanna spar, do ya?'' Ronno challenged, leaping forward.

''No.'' Bambi said again.

Faline was speechless.

''Clobber him, Bambi!'' Thumper said in encourage, and made a hit, and fell.

''Bambi? Isn't that a girl's name?'' Ronno laughed. Bambi frowned. ''Come on. Let's go. Just a little, friendly competition.'' He backed Bambi up against a tree and glared at him.

''Ronno! Faline!'' Someone called.

''Coming, mother.'' Ronno whispered.

''Yeah, maybe we should get going.'' Faline walked up to him.

''I was only playing around with him.'' He turned back to Bambi. ''Isn't that right, Bambi?'' He mocked.

''Ronno! Faline!'' Their mother shouted again.

''I'M COMING!'' Ronno yelled angrily and ran past them. ''Ma, how many times do I have to tell you, don't bother me when I'm trying to make new friends!''

''Sorry, dear.'' The mother turned towards.

''I have to go.'' Faline apologized. ''Mother and Ronno are waiting.''

''Wait, do you know that buck?'' Bambi narrowed his eyes at her.

''Yea, he's my brother.'' Faline answered.

''Your-what? You have a-'' Bambi blinked. Faline just nodded and Bambi watched her walk away.
