Rila: Saw Pacific Rim with my older brother and dad today - it was amazing. I want to watch it again! :D Though I couldn't help but feel that Gypsy Danger's "helmet" looked like Samus' from Metroid and a bit like a Spartan's from Halo. XD Still, pretty damn amazing.

Disclaim: Goodness, if I owned Pacific Rim? :o

She is beautiful.

He tips his head back, staring in silence at the wonder that is the Jaeger before him - all of her, down to the last plates on her feet. She is so familiar - and yet not. It can't be her, can't be - he left her on a snow-covered beach, a ruined testament to who he had been. But here she stands, and he says her name almost reflexively.

"Gipsy Danger..."

The name alone is enough to produce a myriad of feelings. Of familiarity, of comfort, of home - and then of anger, of loss, of loneliness. Gipsy Danger is still here - but his brother isn't. His left arm aches, a reminder of that day five years ago. She still stands, however, a beautiful creature that can't - no, refuses to disappear. It's almost as if she's telling him I'm back, and so are you.

She breathes.
