Lasting Moments

Her breathing turned into rasping gasps as the pain from the curse took over. All he could think about was that he hadn't bothered to learn first aid. "I love you more than anyone! Promise me you'll look after Teddy… PLEASE!"

"No nymph, you can make it, I swear!" He said into her diluted eyes. He kissed her on the bridge of her nose and sighed. "But I will, I promise."

Tonks gave a slight smile that was quickly washed away with the tensing of her face.
