A/N: This is a real situation that happened to me. It just sort of triggered my yaoi fandom in a way.
The character representing myself is Rangiku. (not because I'm a big breasted ditz, on the contrary…)
The couples in this story are: RangikuxShuuhei, IchigoxOrihime, RenjixRukia
Bottles of sake were scattered everywhere around Chad's apartment. Music was blaring from the speakers and people were crowded around in the living room.
Rangiku was trying to get people to join her on the dance floor to get the party started, but only Orihime would go with her. The girls danced by themselves, Shuuhei watching from a distance with a stupid smirk on his face. Renji and Rukia were talking with Ichigo about something that couldn't be heard because of the loud music.
Rangiku paused suddenly from her steps as she heard someone say "Chicken!"
She turned around to see what was going on. Ichigo and Renji were staring at each other, determined not to blink, not wanting to lose what looked like a staring contest.
Rangiku asked Rukia what the hell was going on.
"I think they are playing chicken."
What the hell is that, thought Rangiku.
Then, the two shinigami's faces approached one another, getting closer and closer. Rangiku's face dropped as she saw the two men touch their lips and quickly pulled away.
"OH MY GOD! What was that???" cried Rangiku.
"We were playing chicken. The first one to pull away is the loser, because they chickened out." Renji answered.
"OH MY GOD! Do it again! You both pulled away at the same time, so there was no clear winner."
Renji looked over and Ichigo, who shrugged and went back into position for another game of chicken. Ichigo and Renji were obviously drunk.
The two got closer and closer. Rukia stood there with her camera, ready to take a picture. Rangiku got closer to get a better view.
Renji and Ichigo touched their lips, but did not pull away, determined not to chicken out. Their lips pressed harder into a deeper kiss (no tongue of course). After a few seconds, the men pulled away. Rukia was awestruck. Her mouth and eyes wide open, camera loose in her grasp.
"OH…MY…GOD!!!! Oh my God, oh my God, that was so HOT!!!!" Rangiku yelled. "Rukia, you didn't take a picture!"
"I just can't believe what I saw." Rukia remained still, not believing what her boyfriend just did.
Rangiku ran to Orihime, who was in the other room, too drunk to know what was going on.
"Orihime-chan! You just missed your boyfriend kissing Renji! It was the hottest thing in the world."
Orihime staggered a little, trying to process what Rangiku just said. Before she could reply, Rangiku ran towards her boyfriend Shuuhei. She grabbed his hands, jumping up and down and kissed him on the lips. Shuuhei laughed at how giddy his girlfriend was.
A/N: Yeah…so that was a stupid little thing that happened at a house party. It just marked me in a way. I mean c'mon, nothing is hotter than 2 STRAIGHT men kissing. I swear it was so sexy. And yes I was giddy, and my boyfriend just laughed at me.
