Part 1: Before He Met Malon
Prologue: The Birth Of Link
Long ago in the land of Hyrule there was a man named Rhoam. There also was a woman named Rele. They both were Royal Knights. When they saw each other they fell in love. Pretty soon they got married and they did not have any children. So once they figured out that Rele was pregnant. They started preparing for their coming of their soon to be child. They tried coming up with names, but could not think of one. So, they decided to come up with a name when the child was born. Rele then gave birth and the nurse said "It's a boy". Then they knew exactly what to name him. "His name is Link". They both agreed to name him Link. All this happened in the Hylian Civil War. When they took Link home they raised him til the age of 1, but something tragic happened. His father was shot and killed with an arrow.
In fear, Rele fled with Link in her arms. She ran straight into the Kokiri Forest. Once in the safety of the Kokiri Forest, she came to the Great Deku Tree and said "Can you please take care of Link for me". The Great Deku Tree looked over the sleeping boy and what his destiny was. "Do not worry about the boy, I will take him and raise as a Kokiri." The Deku Tree said. "Thank you so much". Replied Rele. Once Rele left the forest she was slain by the enemy of the King of Hyrule. So Link became an orphan that very day.
