STORY- My Lost Family

Year 2027
27-year-old Sky Tate was walking towards the command center to talk with Commander Manx. It was two years that Gruumm had been destroyed and a year since Kat had become the commander while Cruger was now the General Commander. He remembered when he came to join the academy in 2022. He had met Syd and Bridge. Everything was from then different. He became someone opposite the people knew about. Kat was the only one who wasn't surprised and after becoming rangers he sometime went to Kat to talk about their own individual past. And after Commander Cruger overheard a part of what he went through- even he joined the little meeting.
Sky remembered what happened at the meteor mission. He had thought he had lost Jack- the only teammate he respected like his wife and children. Yes, his own wife and children. It reminded him his past which he had tried to forget.
Sky was so deep in his thought that he didn't notice that he was already in the command center and Kat was watching him from a distance.
Sky Kat called smoothly trying not to startle Sky. Sky came out of his trance and stood there.
Sky, I think you need a break Kat said. I know what you're thinking she continued. I know you miss them and your decision about not telling your teammates. I do appreciate and understand your decision but I think you should at least visit them.
No Kat, I cannot do that. Sky said not meeting her eyes.
Sky look at me please Kat said. They may be gone from the earth Sky but their still in your heart. I lost my husband Sky and I never even found his body. At least you found them Sky. At least their graves are on earth. You can visit them.
But Kat! Sky tried to protest.
NO BUTS! As the commander of this station I order you to take a months leave and visit their graves and your holiday begins from day after tomorrow. By tomorrow you should have your ticket booked and ready to leave. Kat said in a no nonsense tone.
