Chapter 1

Feyre POV:

Feyre didn't know what was worse. This stupid uniform, or the fact that she was here in the first place. The mountain the school was built under gave her a wary feeling. Rumor says that over a thousand years ago, the mountain entrances were destroyed because of something "evil" that happened underneath. She doubted it was true, but that didn't stop her from locking her doors every night. Prythian in general has always been mysterious to her. Her father is a merchant, so she ended up traveling a lot with her two older sisters to the human lands and the continent, so the never got to see much of Prythian. She has heard of a wonderful place called Velaris, though she didn't really believe it actually exists.

She was just unpacking her bags when a blond haired beauty walked in. She had several bags behind her, and was wearing the most stylish dress she has ever seen. Red silk that was tight on her curves, and then flowed down her legs and pooled on the floor. She was wearing 3 inch heels of the brightest white, and had hoop earrings the size of her hand.

"Hi! My name's Morrigan, but you can call me Mor." she exclaimed.

"Um.. Hi. My name's Feyre, but you can call me Feyre." she joked.

I could already tell from the way she came in that this was going to be a fun year. The girl - Mor, was already racing across the room to the bedrooms. It was a miracle she didn't trip over herself.

"I call this one!" she yelled from the other end of the hallway.

Feyre walked over to where Mor was, and saw that she had picked the bigger bedroom.

"Dammit" she said under her breath. The other bedroom was probably about 2 feet smaller, and had a tiny bed with a dresser the size of a mini fridge.

"How the hell am I going to fit all of my stuff in there? My canvas will barely fit!" She exclaimed, more to herself than to her new roommate.

"You're an artist?" Mor asked her.

"Not an artist. It's more of a hobby. And I'm not really that good anyways." She said, trying to take herself out of the spotlight.

"I highly doubt that." Mor stated. "I want to see every single painting you paint on these walls. Is that clear?"

"Um… sure, I guess" Feyre said, slightly taken aback by Mors assertiveness.

"Good" she said, sounding satisfied enough with the way the conversation went.

"Shit. Our first class starts in 2 minutes. We should get going." Feyre said.
