A/N: This isn't to be taken seriously, so...
The day was bright and sun-shining as Aang made his way happily down the halls of the Fire Nation palace. He and Katara were planning on moving into a little hut up in the mountains where Aang could become a sheep-goat herder and Katara could teach her arrivals the art of waterbending. Life was great!!!
Some deep, intense moaning caught his ear as he passed by Katara's room. Aang, being the natural snoop that he was, pressed against the wood door.
"Oh...give it to me!Give it to me NOW!" There were some heavy pants."Oh..."
"Wow," Aang leaned back and tapped his chin."Katara must need something."
"Uhhhh." She moaned in exaggerated delight.
"Really badly."
Aang knocked on the door and it swung open.
"Katara?" The room was pitch black as he stepped in. "What is it that you---?"
"Aang?!"
Katara, hair over the front of her body in bed, tried putting a pillow up on a stunned-upon-discovery Zuko's face --- who also had no shirt on. The three just stayed still for a moment before Aang gave a scratch of his bald cranium.
"Did you help her find what she was looking for, Zuko?" he asked simply.
"Yes, Aang." Zuko said forcedly between clenched teeth."That's what I did."
"I..." Katara nervously tugged at her hair tips. "I think my brother needs to see you." she stood up and pulled the covers along with her as she moved.
He cocked his head. "What'd you lose?"
Zuko and Katara exchanged glances.
"My, uh, vinegar-energy spice?"
"Cool," Aang said with a wide smile, he loved when Katara cooked, the white, prepubescent looked at Zuko expectantly to come with him. "We should go..."
"Right," He motioned Aang along, also standing." But, uh, I need to make sure I've gotten all of Katara's vinegar-energy. So... I'll catch up with you later pal?"
"Well, okay."
"And Aang?"
"Yeah, Katara."
"Just...uh, don't tell anyone. I want tonight's meal to be a surprise."
"Sure thing." Aang left with a little wonder, but he believed his friend's story.
x.x.x
"Where are Zuko and Katara?" Sokka asked casually. "I thought you said that the two of them were cooking dinner tonight. I'm really craving some chicken."
"I can't tell you," Aang said. "Not until they come."
"And, here they are." Toph announced. "Sorry, I just wanted to do that."
She, Sokka, Suki, Iroh and Mai looked in their direction. Aang glanced over his shoulder and saw they no longer looked dishevled. "Hey, guys," he waved at them. "Where's supper? You didn't lose your vinegar-energy again, did you?"
Toph, Sokka and Suki turned bug-eyed.
"Oh, they were 'cooking' all right." Mai sighed with a groan. Did the other nation's know nothing of perfectly normal concubinange?
Iroh stood up to face his neck-massaging nephew.
"Zuko," he said flatly. "I've never heard of that particular spice."
"It's imported from somewhere new."
"Then by all means tell us where."
"Uh...Vachina."
Fin. lol.
