A very short RoryJess one-shot.

Summary: Takes place during Season 3. RoryJess. Rory just can't find a logical reason for why she likes Jess.
Um, this is my first Gilmore Girls fanfiction, I just randomly decided to write it. I usually live over in the "Lost" archive, I read and write Shoone mostly, so this is, um... different. Enjoy.

Rory was generally a very level-headed, logical person. So whenever she had doubts about her relationship with Dean, she would carefully devise a list of all of the things she liked about him. He was nice, sweet, cute, honest, trustworthy. All of the perfect things about a boyfriend. And he was so loyal.
Then why did she get butterflies in her stomach whenever she talked to Jess?
Rorytried to make a list regarding the things she liked about Jess, and comparing it with Dean's list, but Rory would find herself staring at a blank sheet of notebook paper that had "Jess" written at the top of it. After about 10 minutes of staring, thinking, the list remained blank, and Rory, disgusted with herself for questioning Dean, would crumple the paper and toss it into the garbage can.
With Jess, there was some spark that couldn't be described with words or proof or logic. And that made Rory uncomfortable. Her mathematical mind thought that was a pathetic reason to like someone.
But she still did. There was no denying it.
And sometimes feelings speak louder than logic.
