Edward Cullen look out of his window but didn't quite understand yet what Christmas was all about and why that when there was a lot of suffering and needless violence going on around them people ,and in fact Carlisle had just decided to take Edward in as his own and teach him everything he knew but still now at this point in his life Edward was young and did not know better .
He had rebelled at one point and instead ofstill living off animal blood which the entire family decided to do for Edward he went and tried human blood but now as Edward was stalking another victim a young bag lady with her cart he stop momentarily and consider what he was doing .Overhead he saw snow beginning to fall and people walking the streets singing . '' Why are they doing that when so many others are suffering and doesn't make sense .'' The bag lady trembling where she'd was looked up at Edward and smiled ,'' Don't hurt me , sir ,'' she told him ,'' Here ,'' she handed him a box ,'' Merry Christmas .''
'' Why I don't even know you and I wanted to hurt you just now? '' She stood straight up and answer ,'' It's tha time of year , sir . People care more then they should , the spirit of Christmas is within all of us and I'm one in fact that wish it was every day , the whole world would be better off ,people giving love and receiving it caring for each other and not hurting one another , Christmas is all about .''
For that one brief second Edward felt weak different and he let her go . As she left he fell to his knees,he started crying ,'' I'm sorry , let me return home , return too Carlisle . I'd understand now .'' He'd did return to where they live now and Carlisle met him ,'' You return , well human blood any differ ? '' he asked .
'' Don't go there ,yes it is and I'm sorry ,'' he explain to Carlisle what happened .'' She was right you know Christmas is that one day where we care about one another even a stranger can receive love with open arms and a gift too ,you had a special day today Edward ,'' he told him and young Edward looked up at Carlisle as they walked inside the house ,'' I understand .'' He look at the pendant in his hand there were words engrave on it : Bella Swan loves Edward Cullen . But he didn't know anyone name Bella Swan or not yet anyway .
