Author's note: The bear attack causes Cody to develop PTSD and a fear of the woods. Will he get help from his friends? I don't own Total Drama at all. I feel that they should have talked a little more about this topic in the show because there's no way that you would have been all fine and dandy after that type of attack. He would have at least a couple scars and be a little scared of the woods because of the bear….I'm just saying.

Fear developing-

It's in between seasons for TDI and TDA. Everyone is relaxing and getting ready for the new season of TDA.

Well the people that are going to be participating in the new season were getting ready while everyone else was relaxing. Although for poor Cody it was hard to even try to relax.

He hasn't been the same since he was attacked by that bear in the middle of the first season, then sent home. He now has a serious fear of bears and being in the woods where bears would be.

He also is too self-conscious to take his shirt off as of now because of a few claw mark scars on his front.

They are mostly on his left side. He became quiet, timid and hasn't said much to most of the people at the hotel either.

He only talks to Owen, Tyler, Beth, Trent, and Noah. He hasn't even tried to talk to Gwen in fear she would yell at him.

He knew that if she didn't yell at him, then she would only be talking to him out of pity and he didn't want that.

None of his fellow cast know about his PTSD because he doesn't want them to post it on the internet or something. He's also pretty sure that if Chris were to somehow find out then it's possible he'll find a way to humiliate him.

He was pretty sure that Duncan, Heather and Eva would also make fun of him while some of the nicer ones would just hang out with him because they feel bad.

'I don't want them to do that.' Cody thought miserably and thinking of how much he liked Gwen.

"She probably wouldn't care if I got attacked again even if it was in front of her…none of them would." Cody whispered in sadness.

He was by himself at the edge of the forest still very close to the hotel. So no one was able to hear those words when he said them.

He knew that he would have to go back to the pool area soon before it gets dark. He didn't want to be out here if a bear comes.

But for right now he'll enjoy the silence….
