A/N: This is my Shugo Chara fanfic! I hope this is to anyone's liking!
Summary: Nari Shizumu is a normal girl, who lives life day by day, cares for her friends and family, and feels that nothing would ever change in her happy life. All of that changes when she sees a floating a cat with midnight blue hair!? She instantly starts to fall in love with!?!?! Nothing is making sense to her anymore, and is afraid to tell her best friend, Ikuto, that she loves this thing, unbeknownst to her she has no idea that Ikuto knows exactly what she doesn't!

Nari Shizumu opened her eyes to the dark night sky. Getting up slowly, she tried to figure out where she was. "Oh yeah, I'm at the park, guess my nap was a little longer than I thought" Frowning she pulled out her cell phone to see missed calls and text message icons. Checking the time she noted that it was now 9:15 PM. Yawning she read over the messages from her parents wondering where she was at.
She quickly replied to them then looked at the most recent one she had gotten. She noted that it was from her best friend, Ikuto, who was somewhat always up to something.
Sorry, I won't be able to meet you at the park I have something to do. It simply stated. Shrugging she texted back simple ok then shut her phone. "Hah, that's Ikuto for you, always doing something." She thought as she watched the water splash in the fountain in front of her. Standing up, she made her way towards, and then put a hand in the ice-cold water.
She was engrossed in her own thoughts for a while when she noticed something was moving in the water, looking like it was struggling. Thinking it was a small animal she quickly plucked it out of the water. "What the-" she was quickly cut short by the thing coughing and sputtering. "Hey you can put me down now, nya!" it said in a squeaky, but cute voice. Shocked she practically threw it down on the side of the fountain.
"When I said put me down I didn't mean throw me" The thing said staring at her. "Y..you're a cat!" she yelled pointing a finger at it. The little cat thing just stared at her like she was stupid then shook his head. "Yeah, sure I'm a cat~nya!" he replied smiling. Still shocked she noticed that he was shivering, since he was wet and it was really cold outside.
Unwrapping the scarf around her neck she lightly dried him off with it. "Thanks a lot! You really saved me now your wiping me off~ nya!" Nari just stayed focusing on getting him dry then left the scarf on him uncase he might get cold. "Um do you have a name?" she asked looking at him. "It's Yoru~nya!" he replied snuggling into the scarf.
"Hey, this smells really good! You must smell really good if it smells like this~nya!" he said looking at her. Nari'face turned red at the compliment." Eh what the heck it's just a cat thingy! Standing up Nari turned her back, trying to hide her blush. Suddenly she felt something press against her cheek. "YOU CAN FLY!"? she screamed as she saw Yoru next to her.
"Yep, I can fly!~nya!" he replied with a mischievous smile. Nari once again blushed since he actually touched her face now. "Um…I better get going!" she said quickly. "Nari Shizumu is my name, I hope to see you again sometime." Then in a flash she ran off leaving a floating Yoru.
"Nari Shizumu, huh?" I thought I recognized her, shes Ikuto's friend but how can she see me?" he wondered aloud. Blinking he looked over at the red and green scarf she left. Sitting back down by the fountain he buried his face in it. "I think I'm going to like this girl very much." He thought smiling.
