Blaise Zabini sighed as he made his way into his dorm. He ignored everyone who called his name because right now he just needed some time to himself so that he could refresh himself mentally. He was stressed and just needed to center himself before he dealt with anyone or anything else.

He opened his trunk open and pulled out his sketch pad and charcoal pencils. He knew that a lot of people probably would not understand why he found drawing, sketching, or even painting relaxing and refreshing, but he did and that is why he ignored everyone around him when he was working on something.

As he started to sketch a scene that he had in his head still from that morning he let all of the stress that he was feeling flow out of him. His mind completely emptied itself of any thoughts except for the image that he wanted to capture on paper. The more he drew the more alive he felt and knew that it didn't matter what happened because he would get through the day without losing his temper.

He couldn't help, but smile as Hermione, Harry, Luna, and even Draco all took shape in the sketch that he was working on. He had to admit that the scene made his relax even further as he remembered exactly how they looked to all be sitting outside on the grass and leaning against one another. It was just after Harry and Luna started going out with one another and Draco and Hermione admitted that they loved each other.

He loved his friends, but he still needed time alone in order to make sure that everything he was feeling stressed about was dealt with constructively and not destructively. He had first started sketching when he was seven because it gave him a way to just block everything out from around him. When he realized that it made him feel better after a long day or a hard day is when he decided to see if could paint and draw as well.

Two hours later he set his sketch pad to the side so that the charcoal could dry without getting smudged and stood up. He smirked when he realized that he truly did feel rejuvenated and not just mentally, but physically as well. That just proved that he was right in choice of relaxation because it always made him feel fresh and he didn't see that changing that anytime soon. If it hadn't changed in the last ten years then there was no way that it would change ever. It never ceased to amaze him that he always felt refreshed mentally after long sessions of sketching, painting, or just regular drawing. It never ceased to amaze him that he felt like he could take on the world and win with the way he felt after each session with his sketchpad or easel.
