Fipp: It has always puzzled me as to why people support GinRan so much. I know it looks good on paper, but in actual practice . . .

BTW, I knew that was going to happen.

On a Whim

Ichimaru didn't look back.

Why should he? The damage was done, but he felt that even more could be dealt if he didn't even given a second look as to what he did.

It sometimes made him curios as to why people thought the way they did.

Back in Soul Society, there was not a single person who did trust him. Not even his own squad had full trust in him.

Except those two.

Funny how it was.

Kira was just kind of clingy, and needed something to latch on, like little Momo-chan.

It was fun when Aizen stabbed her. And then later when Hitsugaya stabbed her.

It was also fun cutting Hiyori in half. It was always fun hearing Shinji scream.

Just like little Rukia-chan's screams.

He was generally glad that Kira seemed to get better, and seemed to abandon those pessimistic habits of his. It would feel so much more rewarding to cripple Kira with this newfound self-confidence.

Matsumoto, yeah. He could understand her more. They've know each other for many decades, since they were kinds.

Even so, she was a smart lady. She should have known better.

But in the end she was no different then either Kira or Hinamori; Just another person who needed someone to grab onto.

It made him laugh. He saved her life for one reason, the same reason he did anything.

Everything he did, was on a whim.

He never gave much thought into anything he did, but only allowed it to go its course.

There was no reason for anything other then that. He could have just as easily fought against Aizen, as fighting under him (1).

No. That was a lie.

True, everything he did was on a whim, but he didn't need to move Matsumoto out of the way. Aizen could have easily crushed her by touching her.

He gained pleasure in what he just did.

But now that fun was over. Oh well.

He should really hurry back now.

If hew as lucky, Aizen would have done in those kids that the Don Panini.

(1) There was no fighting with Aizen. He knew that. He was no fool.
