Disclaimer: I don't own KND
A/N: Why is this NigelxLizzie centric? I felt like writing it. You flame me because you bash Lizzie and I will call you stupid and laugh at you. Personally, I don't like her much myself but her character is fun to write. Ah well, please tell me what you think of this after reading! It'd be much appreciated!
"But Nigie, you promised!"
Nigel Uno groaned in irritation, as his girlfriend's wail echoed around the room.
"Lizzie, I technically didn't promise. You called me up and said that we were going on a date and you were coming by in thirty minutes and I had better be ready or else. And then you hung up the phone before I could say anything." Nigel gulped nervously as he waited for Lizzie's outburst.
"BUT YOU KNEW I WANTED TO GO ON A DATE TODAY!" She whined. "What could be more important than going on a date with your girlfriend!?"
Nigel could think of a bunch of things, but if he let Lizzie in on any of them . . . he didn't even want to think about how she'd react.
"I have some urgent stuff to finish up for Moonbase Lizzie! There's just no time for a date today!"
"You can finish it up later!"
"I have homework from school!"
"YOU NEVER CARE ABOUT HOMEWORK!"
"I told Hoagie I'd help him sort out his Yipper card collection!"
"That's a lie Nigel Uno! Hoagie's not even here today, he's at the comic book store!"
"Look Lizzie, I'd love to go out on a date with you but there's just no . . . time" Nigel sputtered, trying to come up with more excuses.
Lizzie sighed, clearly annoyed.
"Look, I want you to buy us movie tickets for "Rainbow Monkeys In Love 12!" and then I want you to take me out roller skating! You aren't busy! I want to go on a date tonight!"
"FINE!" Nigel finally yelled out. He couldn't take it anymore! It was just one date, it couldn't really hurt. This one word of course turned Lizzie's irritation into pure happiness.
"OH THANKS NIGIE! That's what I've been trying to make you realize all along: If you have no time to go on a date with me, then you make time . . . or else!"
"Yeah . . . whatever." Nigel said with a grin as Lizzie tackled him with a hug.
"Come on, we'll be late for the movie!"
"Relax Lizzie; we'll be there in no time."

A/N: Yeah, it's kind of plot-less but I thought it was fun to write, even though I don't like the NigelxLizzie pairing much myself. Please let me know what you think of this via review and thanks a bunch for reading!
Until next time!
