Prologue:
Lara looked out the window of the plane, somewhat unable to believe what was happening.
Flashback:
She sat in the principal's office waiting to be called in, what had happened?
"Lara, could you come in here please?"
16-year-old Lara Smith entered to find 2 police officers talking to Mr. Muttzerella (the principal). One of the police officers turned to Lara.
"Ms. Smith I'm sorry to tell you your parents died in a car crash earlier today. Your parents had no living relatives so you will be sent to live with your guardian, a Mrs. Maxine Ely of Darton Nevada."
End Flashback.
That one-day had changed her life completely. She had tied up all the loose ends, then was sent on the first plane away from the only home she had known.
So there she was, on her way from the grasslands of Arizona to rural Nevada to live with a family she didn't know and leave behind all she held dear.
Now wasn't this gonna be fun?
