The sun was setting leaving the city in complete darkness. The rain had lessened leaving the night sky clear allowing the moon and stars to be seen. Alice shifted the bag on her shoulder, "you want me to carry that?"

"No. I'm fine." Alice answered still shifting the bag on her shoulder.

"Let me get it." Carlos took the bag from her. Alice started to rub he shoulder, "what's wrong with your shoulder?"

"It's sore." Carlos put the bags he was carrying on the floor and looked at her shoulder. "It's dislocated."

"Why didn't you say anything?" Carlos took her arm and pushed her short sleeves up so he could see her shoulder.

"It didn't bother me back then." Alice gave a nervous smile.

"Alright. Hey, remember what Leon said?"

"What? N-" She was cut off when Carlos pushed her arm back into it's socket. "Ow!" She moved her arm in a circle. "Thanks." She glanced at him with thankful eyes. Carlos smiled and handed her the bag.

Alice walked down a dark hallway. Crimson red curtains blew with the breeze that entered through the large windows on her right. It was a really big mansion. It was practically empty. Lightning raged outside but it wasn't raining or thundering. Just a noiseless light that lit up the sky. Alice made her way through the curtains and through a large door. She felt like she knew where she was going, yet she had never been in that mansion. It was large room with the same large windows and the crimson curtains. The floor was made of dark marble that seemed to shine from the light of the full moon. Standing in front of the large window between two others, was a man in a dark blazer. He turned and looked at her. Another flash of lightning and for a split second, Alice saw the mans face. He was wearing black shades. Alice felt she knew him. Then it hit her. It was Wesker. She walked towards him. She thought that she was going to attack him, but instead, she looked at him before kissing him. Thunder cackled followed by another flash of lightning and the sound of rain hitting the open window. The room got extremely cold. Alice saw the small movement from Wesker as he took something from his pocket. Alice pulled away when she felt a sharp pain in her side. She looked down and saw the hilt of a small dagger.

Alice woke up suddenly. She sat up. She was panting and she felt a cold sweat go done the back of her neck onto her back. She caught her breath and put her hand on the back of neck. Her breathing slowed and she looked to her side to see if she had woken Carlos up. Carlos was sleeping soundly with his gun next to him. She sighed and laid back down.

Down in the labs…

Wesker looked through files on a steel table. His face was expression-less as he couldn't find what he was looking for. "Chairmen Wesker?" Said a voice. It was soft like that of a little girl.

"Report." He ordered. A hologram of a little girl appeared beside him. "There was rating of over two-hundred percent." The girl said.

"Of Project: Alice?"

"Yes, sir. It seems that while she was sleeping, a vision overtook her in the form of a dream."

"That's new." Wesker said abandoning the files on the table. "Do a scan of the area of where the ratings appeared."

"I already have, sir. It seems that it came from the New York area."

"And her powers?"

"They are growing more powerful earlier than expected."

"Just as expected." Wesker said to himself.

"Sir?"

"Assemble a team. I don't want her to get away this time." Wesker said. His voice icy-cold with slight amusement.

"Yes, sir." With that, the hologram disappeared. Leaving Wesker with a smug grin. Behind his dark sunglasses, his eyes turned crimson red.
