"AAAAHHHHH!"

Ren woke up in an instant, looking around, trying to find the source of the scream.

There was jaune in his blue onesie. he was mumbling something about a test, and curdle around his pillow. so not the screamer.

Next was Pyrrha, calmly sleeping in her bed. she was laying on her back under the covers, almost like a princess from a fairly tale. not her either.

Finally he checked on nora, but unlike the others, she was awake and crying. she was wearing her black boop shirt and shorts. looking closely ren saw that there were tear stains on her pillow, showing that even while she was asleep she'd been crying.

Ren went over to her and sat on the bed. He put his arms around her , rubbing her back sympatheticly.

Nora looked up at him, tears flowing down her face. "R-R-Ren? Is that you?" she asked.

He nodded, still rubbing her back," Yeah, nora, it's me. what's wrong? why are you crying?"

She hugged him back so hard that he winced, but gave no other sign that he was uncomfortable. "Oh ren it was terrible. you'd gotten hurt, and were at the hospital. Then you wouldn't wake up, for days. and then... and then... *sob* you were gone." fresh tears began streaming down here face at the end.

"It's all right, i'm right here and i'm not going anywhere." ren said, trying to calm his friend down.

"But what if you do? What am i suppose the do if you were suddenly gone?" nora asked.

"Well, I wouldn't be gone. Rememeber what i told you when we were little. As long as you remember me i'm not really gone." he said.

"Yeah, but what if i start forgetting you, you know how my mind can be at times." nora asked, starting to feel a little better.

"But it's not just you anymore, you have jaune, pyrrha, and team RWBY. as long as one remembers, then i'll be right were i've always been." ren then pokes her right above the heart," Right here."

Nora finally smiles,"Thanks ren, your right. your the best friend ever." then she yawns and stretches her arms up.

"Well I think its time to get back to bed. I'm making pancakes in the morning." ren says as he tucks her in like he always does.

"Ok, see you in the morning ren." nora said sleepily. she closes her eyes and falls asleep quickly.

"Yeah in the morning." he says. Ren smiles as his eyes began to droop, thinking of all his friends that he'd made since coming to beacon. he fell asleep content and at peace.

This is a short tribute to Monty Oum, who passed way on Febuarary 1, 2015.

He will be remembered as a brillent creator, and animator. his work as brought enjoyment to thousands of people, and will continue to do even after he is now gone.

I hope he has found peace and happiness wherever he his now.
