It was late as she stumbled into the flat. The lights were out and she didn't bother turning them on as she made her way through to their bedroom. Her body still humming from the excitement of the match but too exhausted to do anything about it.
She sat on the edge of the bed gently and slowly stripped off her boots, jeans and underwear.
"Mmph Gin, where are you?" he didn't bother opening his eyes in the darkness but stretched out a leg and let it roam until it came in contact with her hip.
"Just here, one sec." she pulled her top over her head and unhooked her bra before slipping under the sheets and over to his side of the bed. Her naked flesh curled around his and his arms encircled her. He was still half asleep but his lips found hers as he pushed her flat against the bed and moved his hand down her body to between her legs. She inhaled as he entered her. She could taste the smell of his skin and hair on her tongue.
She came hard and fast, completely surrounded by him, he followed quickly after with an exhale.
He rolled back over pulling her with him into the position they were in before. His nose rubbing into her hair. She kissed him, sweetly this time. Gentle, half formed kisses.
She felt his eyes open and look at her. She could make out his grey eyes through the one eye she'd opened.
"Marry me." he whispered.
"What?"
"You heard me." she could hear his smirk as much as see it.
"Say it again. "
"Will you marry me."
"Alright."
She moved back into him and kissed him before settling into the crook of his neck. His hand came up to cradle her head. The other drawing lazy patterns on her hip. Sleep finally claimed them for the night.
AN: So it's been a while! I can't promise regular updates as this was just something that popped into my head as I was getting ready for bed and demanded to be written. There is another short bit to follow this and other scenes are taking form, but I will try my hardest to get something up soon.
