A/N: Has anyone noticed my profile steadily filling with yuri? XD Well, this isn't really yuri, so much as an ambiguous hints/friendship Sakura/Tomoyo one-shot. Feedback is always appreciated, especially con-crit. Hope you enjoy!

Unthinking Faith

As Sakura grew older, naturally she began looking at her life differently. In seventh grade, she felt uneasy almost every day, thinking about her views in her life. Common thoughts plagued her being, things like, Do I really believe this? Is this really true? And, as it would seem, Tomoyo was maturing mentally in her own ways, if it was possible to get any more mature than she already was. But at the same time, she never seemed to question herself.

"How do you do it, Tomoyo-chan?" Sakura asked. "Even as you grow up, you never seem overwhelmed by any differences. Aren't you thinking differently?"

"Of course, Sakura-chan," Tomoyo said gently, in that motherly way of hers. "Unthinking faith may have been adequate when we were younger. But as someone matures, they start demanding more thorough answers. Blind acceptance causes a person to stop growing."

"So this is a normal sign that I'm growing?"

"Yes."

"It's giving me headaches!" Sakura said, sighing. "How do you handle everything so well?"

"Just try living day by day, Sakura-chan," Tomoyo advised. "Don't let that confidence of yours waver, because your heart and your confidence shape your views on life."

"But what if my views are wrong?" Sakura asked.

Tomoyo gave her an odd look, as if the very phrase was not in her mental dictionary. "They won't be wrong, because they are Sakura-chan's. And I have always had faith in Sakura-chan, and I always will."

Sakura smiled, blushing slightly. "But what about what you said about unthinking faith?"

"In that way, it may seem that I am childish," Tomoyo chuckled, "but based on experience, I can say that believing in Sakura is probably the smartest thing I could do."

Sakura blushed again.
