"Um… sure Amy."

"Great! I'll meet you at the theater in an hour. See ya!"

I hung up the phone and shouted "YES!!!" Alone, in a dark movie theater with my darling Sonikku! How romantic! I ran to my closet to pick out the perfect outfit for our big date.

I decided on a white tank top and a red skirt. I twirled around in front of the mirror to admire myself. Giving my reflection two thumbs up, I said "Oooh, Sonic will love it!"

I grabbed a sparkly red handbag and headed out the door. What a beautiful afternoon! As I briskly walked down the sidewalk, people bustled in from every direction. It's a shame that they're always in a hurry, sometimes it's nice to take a breath of fresh air and relax.

My eyes scanned the crowds, a sort of human traffic jam. I was searching for those unmistakable blue quills and emerald eyes. After a few minutes I finally found you.

I was searching everywhere

and my love arrived - just in the nick of time

My heart skipped a beat and I could feel my cheeks turn bright red as you walked up to me. You handed me a beautiful bouquet of roses and we bought our tickets. Soon we were seated and ready for the movie to begin.

It was a romance movie, of course. I loved every minute of it, no matter how similar the plot seemed compared to others. You dried my tears whenever I got too emotional, and laughed with me when it became overly cheesy. Everyone says guys aren't into sappy movies, but you sure did a good job at tolerating it for a couple hours.

After the movie was over, you gave me a quick good-bye and then dashed off. You're such a free spirit, Sonikku. You look for an adventure anywhere. That's the reason I love you.
