I usually don't write poetry, but I wanted to see if anyone likes it...or even reads it. It's basically written as if it's from Izumo to Kotetsu.
The Greatest of Friends
You inspire me to be great, to be a fighter and friend,
We promised to train and get stronger together until the end,
You taught me to use syrup as a weapon to fight,
We like to hang out with each other from morning to night.
I don't care that other people think we are in love,
They're just jealous our friendship fits just like a glove,
We tried our best to win in the fight when Asuma died,
If anyone said otherwise, we'd know they have lied.
Protecting the village from unlawful entry of enemies and thieves,
Is what we must do in the village of leaves,
We may have to do errands that we'd prefer not to do,
But I tell you my friend, I'm glad it's with you.
