Yugi stood wide eyed at the door of her house. There was her secret boyfriend. Kissing her best friend. She was shocked.
" Wha..." That was all Yugi could manage. Yami and Anzu broke apart. Anzu looked happy, and Yami looked like a criminal in the headlights. Or was it a deer. A deer criminal in headlights.
Yami got up and said, " Yugi, this isn't what you-"
" Yugi-chan! Isn't it wonderful! Yami asked me to be his girlfriend! Isn't it wonderful!?" Anzu announced showing a cheap plastic ring on her forefinger. Yugi crossed her arms smileing an innocent smile at Anzu. Yami could see Yugi was mad.
" Yugi, I'm gonna have to dump you." Yugi frowned and smiled again. Suddenly, a book went flying into Yami's face.
BAM! It hit! Yugi walked over to Anzu, pushed her out the door, walked over to Yami's unconsious body, and carried it back to his room. She then placed him on the bed and took a red, washable, crayola marker. She then wrote on Yami's forehead. Satisfied, Yugi went back to her room.
Yami woke up slowly, and in pain. " Ugh... what happened?" He thought out loud. He got up from bed and walked himself to the bathroom. He splashed water on his face, smearing the red writing so it looked like blood. Yami looked into the mirror to see, his ' Blood' spelling " I will never cheat again." Yami freaked out. He ran to the living room to see Yugi leaning against the counter in her school uniform.
" Morning ex-koi!" Yugi greeted. Yugi's eyes were fixed to the toaster. Yami ran up to Yugi and turned her around to stare eye to eye. Yugi and Yami made eye contact until Yugi broke the silence, " What's a matter?" Like she didn't know what was going on.
Yami felt his eyes widen. Then the toaster went off. Yami saw that the toast had only burned to spell " Cheater". Yugi took the toast like nothing happened to it and before Yugi took a bite, Yami grabbed it and threw it out.
" Yami! Why'd you throw it out?" Yugi whined.
" It said, " Cheater" On it!" Yami explained. Yugi looked confused. Then put her hand on Yami's forehead.
" Well you don't have a fever..." Yugi said. Yami threw off Yugi's hand and sat down. Yugi took a bite into an apple instead. Yami saw a reflection of himself in the apple. His forehead was clear. Yami looked at the hand Yugi checked his temperature with. Clean as a whistle.
" Yami, what's wrong?" Yugi asked. Yami stood up, grabbed Yugi and dragged her to her room. He closed the door and locked it. " YAMI! LET ME OUT DAMNIT! I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" Yami walked over to the telephone.
" Hello, Domino High... Yes well, I am the brother of Yugi Motou... Yes, she's sick today and will not be attending school... Yes thank you. " Yami put the phone back on the reciever and walked back to Yugi's room. " Yugi, you don't have to worry about school, I've called you in sick."
" THAT'S CHEATING!" Yami's heart stung at the word. Then Yami walked away.
" I don't know what's wrong with him. All I did was write, ' I'm Anzu's bitch' On his forehead..."
