A Dream to Foresee
Again, a weird dream of a thousand cranes
Just like in fairytale happiness reigns
Mesmerized by the dancing candy canes
Besieged by these weird things, am I insane?
Then suddenly these things disappear
Darkness engulfs my soul; I cried in fear
Playing back the memories I hold dear
Sound of waves and howling of winds I hear
Standing beneath the cherry blossom tree
Watching the pink petals falling on me
Clear azure sky and raging waves of sea
Such a magnificent dream to foresee
This world that belongs to this dream, how vast
Hoping time would stop and wouldn't go so fast
Still wanting to play and to dance at last
How I wish this wonderful dream would last.
