I laughed at Inu-Yasha, unable to hold it in
At how ridiculous he looked, standing there with a grin
How looked like a idiot, no doubt about that
And why couldn't he picked that hat?
It all started when he wanted clothes
Something that would help him make a striking pose
My mother had said she would help him, a foolish mistake
But she didn't know that this hanyou was but a fake
He had said he wanted something to make him really shine
Something, that so in my eyes I thought he looked "fine"
All he wanted was to impress me, bless his soul
But he missed it by a long shot, that thing that was his goal
So my mother took his shopping, but not without the baseball cap
No telling what people would do if they saw his ears…probably snap
But shopping they went, the hanyou and mother
To see if they couldn't get something special, for another
Inu-Yasha tried on tux's, he tried on suits
In fact he even tried on a pair of Army boots
But nothing seemed like the right thing for him
Until he saw those things, having a lace trim
They were a ugly purple, enough to make me gag
But Inu-Yasha knew those were the ones as he looked at the tag
$3 didn't seem that bad of a price
So Inu-Yasha picked them up, he didn't think twice
He asked my mother if they were alright
She hid back a laugh and said "Wouldn't you like white?"
Inu-Yasha shook his head, these were the ones that would make my day
He said "Either these or a nice doll, made out of clay"
My mother nodded, knowing he wasn't going to change his mind
So she said "Well we better hurry up and buy them, before we get to behind"
Standing in the line, Inu-Yasha held them tight
He wasn't going to give these up, not without a fight
Finally purchasing them, Inu-Yasha and mother started to head home
There wasn't no time, Inu-Yasha wanted me to see them, there was no time to roam
So making it to my house, he slipped them on
Walking with them, even across the lawn
Stepping into the house, he caught me by surprise
"Look!" he said, pointing to them, a excited looking in his eyes
I looked down, almost afraid of what I would find
Because…Well….Inu-Yasha didn't have the best mind
I laughed at what I saw, I had not expected this
The laughing broke Inu-Yasha's feeling of bliss
But it was hard not to laugh, just like a child while he mocks
But there Inu-Yasha stood…In a pair of purple women's socks.
At how ridiculous he looked, standing there with a grin
