On the Tempest…
Scott Ryder was on his way to talk to the love of his life, Vetra Nyx. 'I hope she says yes' Scott thought to himself as he looked at the ring that was in his pocket and smiled. As Scott made his way down the ramp, he could see Vetra working hard as she always did, he approached her with a smile on his face.
"Vetra, can I see you in my quarters in say, thirty minutes?" Scott asked
"Sure" Vetra said
Thirty minutes later…
As Vetra walked into Scott's quarters she wondered.
"So what's this about Scott?" she asked as she kissed him.
"You might wanna sit down for this Vetra" Scott said as he braced himself for the question that would change his life forever.
"Ok" Vetra said as she sat down on the bed curious as to what Scott was up to.
"Well, it's been four years since we've been together, and I thought we should make it official" Scott said nervously as he secretly pulled out the ring.
"Ok…" Vetra said, not fully understanding what was going on.
"Vetra Nyx…" Scott said as he prepared to pop the question.
"Yes?" Vetra asked as she saw Scott get down on one knee.
"Will you marry me?" Scott asked as those words finally came out of his mouth.
Vetra covered her mouth with her hands in complete shock, and said one word that completely surprised Scott by a thousand millennia. "YES!" Vetra said half loudly as she hugged and kissed Scott lovingly, they parted for a moment and Scott placed the ring on Vetra's finger.
"I love you Vetra" Scott said.
"I love you too Scott" Vetra replied.
A few days later they had the wedding on the Nexus and lived long and happy lives together, forever.
