A Marriage of Opposites

She was a vibrant young being

A young woman not afraid to speak her mind.

I was calm and decisive,

A man who is blunt and forthright.

She valued beauty and life,

I valued silence and discipline.

It is a wonder how we ended up together,

How fate has twisted our paths to lead to one another.

She was honest and vocal,

Qualities that caught my awareness.

She beckoned my heavily guarded doors to open,

I did not budge, I held steadfast to the harness.

She clung to the idea like a child,

I scoffed but admired her determination.

She insisted, but everyday I rejected,

Her advances playing a constant sonata to my emotions.

As little water drops steadily on a stone,

It's constant strength will eventually break it open.

She was the water, I was the stone.

She tore me open, now I am not alone.

---------------

Okay this is just a try on a poem between Saitou and Tokio. It's Saitou's

point of view. Hopefully it's okay, but I'll let you be the judge of that.

:O)

Reviewers:

Hikari Tsuki Chi - I hoped you liked it . Thanks for reviewing

Tamakia'gss - Hontoni Arigatou! I'm so glad you liked it. I can't find it in myself to write a Saitou/Tokio story yet, so I dabbled in writing a poem of them in the meantime.
