Just a small Inuyasha drabble between Sango and Miroku. This was birthed out of episode 132.

"Bear my child."

Sango had blushed at Miroku's proclamation, more from pleasure than embarrassment.

She snuck a small look to the monk who walked in front of her.

He still wore the bandages from their fight while she was possessed, though Kagome pronounced he'd be thoroughly healed within the next few days.

Miroku suddenly chuckled at something Inuyasha said. Seeing him like this, fleetingly happy, made Sango forget momentarily the monk's preoccupation with less-than-holy behavior.

Her agreement to live with him, should they survive, had unburdened Sango of her recurring bitterness towards Miroku.

She understood his reasoning, even concern, over loving her before Naraku was defeated. Sango thought he was right.

Their focus should endure to finding the remaining jewel shards and defeating Naraku. This wasn't the time to be seeking out intimacies and feelings.

For now, Sango was pleased enough with knowing what Miroku felt.

Miroku, sensing her gaze, glanced at her over his shoulder.

He shared a small smile with her and faced forward.

Yes, Sango mused silently, it is enough.
