"Robin, return to Batcave"

As quick as Robin had received the message he had already disappeared with his trademark laugh.

"Dude-!" Wally turned to his right side about to yell at the boy to play him seriously on the new game, only to find the controller on the couch "…Ugh, I hate it when he does that."

It was 10pm and Robin knew Batman usually went patrolling even earlier, so he was a bit confused when Batman had called him via earpiece. Arriving in the Batcave the boy took a few steps before yelling out "Bruce!" After a few moments of silence Robin heard in a commanding tone "Living room". Nervous on what was going on he quickly rushed to the exit of the Batcave to the mansion.

He poked his head through the door tentatively "Bruce…?" Said man was on his couch speaking with Alfred. "Something wrong?" asked the younger boy. Bruce turned his head around and Alfred greeted him "Welcome home, Master Richard. I'll be leaving you two to your business" and quietly left. Bruce motioned Robin to take a seat across from him. The boy tried to look calm as he sat down. No longer looking at his guardian and opting to stare at the floor, there was an awkward silence in the air. Little did he know things were only going to get even more awkward.

The dark knight broke the silence "You're getting older now, and I know kids your age…" He looked quite uncomfortable "go through a phase…and," Robin's eyes widened on realization on where this was going and quickly stood up and covered his ears "Oh my GOD. NO, stop right there Bruce, I am not mentally prepared to have this conversation with you right now!" Bruce could barely hold in his amused smile and questioned "When are you going to be mentally prepared for this then?" At this point Robin was staring at Bruce with his back slouched and his mouth agape. He quickly composed himself and coughed into his hand. He looked at his father, lifted a finger, and opened his mouth "…"

Next thing you know the Boy Wonder was out of the living room and trying to find a hiding spot. Bruce sped out of the room after the boy and yelled out with a smile on his face "Dick, you're only prolonging the inevitable". Stopping at the end of a hallway Wayne heard "It's very evitable, we just don't have to talk about it!" Bruce chuckled as he turned left and right in the maze of the mansion trying to decipher were his little boy's location was.

Two minutes later Robin was on the floor of the Batcave tied up and gagged. Batman looked victoriously over Robin's body. "Really, sometimes you forget who trained you". Robin could only produce a glare. "Now that we are settled….When a man loves a woman and vice versa..." The constrained boy on the floor couldn't hide his horrified expression.
