I am used to being alone, so I don't understand why he would want to help me. He is almost like Tom. He used to be friends with Tom. I still talk to Tom sometimes and he says that Snape can help me. He says that I am to become great and that Snape can help me on my way to the top. Tom says that he has plans for me. He says I should learn everything I can from Snape. I listen and on the first of term in my sixth year I go to him. He is waiting for me as if he knew I would come.
"Ginny" He says as I walk in the door to his office. "I thought you would come tonight."
"How did you know?" I ask as I sit down on the chair adjacent to his desk.
"I have many ways of knowing Ginny, but what I don't know is why?" He looks at me as though I asked him to marry me. Eww. That's gross I would never ask that, I wonder where these thoughts were coming from but I had to reply so I did not think long.
"Well that makes two of us then cause I have no idea either." I gave him a blank look so that he would give an honest expression back.
"Then why did you come?"
"Tom told me to."
"You still talk to him? I thought the diary was destroyed in the chamber of secrets?"
"That's what everyone thought. But once I got it off Dobby I went to the library to see if I could unleash his echo again. It took me almost a year but in the end I found the right charm to release his echo from the one book and put it into another one." I was pleased with myself and let him know it too.
"Ah," He said acknowledging my intelligent. "So we have yet another Griffindor genius."
"Actually," I said wondering how to word my next statement. "That's part of why I'm here. When I was sorted there was something no one knew. Something that for all these years I have hid from students and teachers alike."
"And what is that, my dear?" he almost looked happy that I was telling him first.
A/N: Okay, okay I know its short. I just had to post a chapter now so that it would be up tonight. There will probly be another chapter up in about two hours.
