Xaldin
A/N: This is anybody's take on the voice, not really a particular character. Could be a series, but depends on how many reviews I get.
His voice was deliciously throaty, reasonably logical in that dark way of insanity. Appealing to the most subconscious, most instinctive of seductions.
The pronunciation of his words were as though he was not entirely used to speaking although he was liquid-like in his perfect, delicate, enunciation.
There was something in his voice that gave me the impression that it should be heated with passion, heated with something…animal, like the bass tone implied. As it floated and sunk into my skin, it left me with a feeling opposite what I was expecting.
He spoke of obvious subjects, although when he articulated them it was a revelation. I knew it subconsciously, but until the moment he scraped the film away I had not acknowledged it. As he spoke, thoughts of everything and anything drifted half-heartedly through my mind, as if disturbed by the wind. He continued, but when he did, this time he brought certain things into sharp focus, dug up emotions that were slight, and made them abyssal.
It went unnoticed the exact time he left, like wind ceasing to blow, the breeze no longer whispering in your ear, for so well did his words of darkness become your own.
He became the wind.
