The Triforce of Life and Death
Disclaimer: I do not own the Legend of Zelda or any of its characters, logos, or that other crap, except the last triforce.
Summary: Link is now corrupted by the Triforce of Death, ten people are immune to his powers, but Link doesn't know who the last person is. Link still has to awaken the sages, but can he meet his goal without becoming Death itself?
Who am I? Not even I know. My past is a mystery, and all I know about my future is it will be a dark one. People call me Link, if that is my real name, I'll never know. I am supposed to be the Hero of Time, but how can I be when I am corrupted by this horrible power? I guess I should start at the beginning, like I said my name is Link. This is a dark story, not the way most people know it.

I had just finished collecting the three sacred gems, Zelda had to run from Hyrule because of Ganondorf, she gave me an ocarina. I walked toward the Temple of Time, I thought I should. I placed the three gems on the alter, and then I saw a message from Zelda jammed into a hole on the ocarina, I pulled it out, this is what it said.
Link,
If you are reading this then I must be gone by now, but finish the job, Ganondorf is chasing me, play the Song of Time, that will let you get to the thing you need.
Goodbye Link
I finish reading and decided I should do what I had to. I put the blue instrument to my lips, I then began moving my fingers over the holes carved into it; the song seemed to flow naturally.
I saw the wall disappear, and three golden triangles fill the empty space. I could help but wonder why there was an empty space in the center. I walked forward and saw a magnificent sword embedded in a stone pedestal. I suddenly heard an insane laugh, Ganondorf had found me.
"Thank you for leading me here," he said a smirk on his horrible face, "well now that the princess is gone, there is nothing stopping me from achieving my goal."
"I'm still here, and I won't go down without a fight." I drew my sword from its sheath, the warlock snapped his fingers and a blast of energy flew towards me, and my sword was knocked out of my hand. Knowing I had only seconds I pulled the sword from its pedestal and every thing went black.

A/N: I wanted to make this story darker and less like the game and the original version I wrote of this, so I got the idea for Link narrating and through out the story Link will learn more about his past. Also Link is becoming darker and more content with killing for the sake of killing.
