Oliver Davis looked at the mirror and composed himself as he realized that he would be soon meeting clients from a local school in tokyo. He took a deep breath and said for the nth time in his lifetime.

"No one will know that we switched." He mumbled and then tried to give an expression that clearly was not in his nature, he gave out a smirk and then a glare.

"Even Lin mustn't know about this." He said to himself again as he placed his hand in his pocket.

"Where the hell are you… you idiot scientist."

"Gene, let me handle the meeting in Japan." Noll's eyes was attached towards his twin, who was packing up his clothes ready to leave europe. Gene on the other hand was quite hesitant on travelling to Japan. He wanted to visit an old friend that he met once when his parents were handling a case in Tokyo at the same time, he needed to meet with some mediums and exorcists in Osaka as well.

"Noll, I'll be fine, Besides, why do you want to do it? You're not a people person." Gene said, he was rather curious of why his twin brother would rather do it.

"I have been interested in the cases in Japan that SPR handled before, It would be nice to see something new." Noll said as he picked up Gene's passport.

Gene sighed and then tried to think of the reasons to give Noll the meeting. Even though they were siblings, Gene has visited japan many times than Noll. He didn't think that Noll would suddenly be interested in visiting the country.

"No one will know, you've practiced to be me and I practiced to be you. Mother would never approve of you going." Gene said and gave Noll his plane tickets.

"No one has to know, besides If something happens to me as Gene, you get to become me." Noll said as he placed the passport and ticket inside his suit pocket.

"Noll" Gene said worriedly. "You don't have anything to say except good luck." Noll said as he carried his luggage.

A few days later…

"Mother…" Gene tried to think of the right words and right expression of how Oliver Davis would grieve about death. "Gene… is dead."

From that day on, he continued to live in a miserable and dark lie.

A lie that he had to continue, a life that he considered to be rather miserable, but for the sake of his brother's justice and reputation. He had to hide it. He had to hide the fact that they actually switched.

I wanted to see a different style of story, of how a eugene davis would act as an oliver davis.
