I made a gingerbread house yesterday, so I thought it would be funny if the emotions from Inside Out made one too!
"Guys! Good news!" Joy said, holding a box in her arms.
"What?" Sadness asked.
"Since it's so close to Christmas, Dream Productions is taking the day off. That means there is no dream duty tonight!" Joy exclaimed.
"Yay! Let's go sleep!" Fear ran upstairs.
"No...because I have this super fun thing for us to do!" Joy said, shaking the box and setting it down on the table.
"Gingerbread House?" Anger asked, reading the side of the box.
"What are you talking about? This doesn't sound fun! I'm not doing this!" Disgust said.
"There's probably extra candy."
"SOLD!" Disgust said exitedly.
It's pretty well known that Disgust has a HUGE sweet tooth, so Joy knew that would make her do it.
Joy began opening the box as the other emotions gathered around.
Fear came back downstairs, realizing what was going on.
Sadness took out the pieces of gingerbread for the house while Disgust grabbed one of the bags of decorative candies.
Joy herself grabbed the frosting and began using it to make the outline of the house.
Disgust took a green candy shaped like a christmas tree and popped it into her mouth.
Anger began fitting the peices in place.
Fear started making spots with the frosting and putting little candies on the gingerbread house.
The pastry bag apparantly had a hole in it, and it squited frosting on Disgust.
"Hey!" she tried to say, but the candy in her mouth made it hard to talk.
She suddenly got a frantic expression and she was coughing and holding her throat.
"She's choking! Someone do something!" Fear panicked.
Disgust was barely able to breathe.
She was even turing a sort of blue-green color.
Joy acted quickly and started giving the shorter girl the Heimlech meanuver.
Disgust coughed up the piece of candy.
She had an embarrassed expression at practically 'barfing' something up in front of her fellow emotions.
The frosting was making her hair sticky.
It had also gotten on her pink ascot and green dress.
The green-haired girl dashed to her room to change and fix her hair.
"Well...we gonna keep decorating this gingerbread house or what?" Asked Anger.
Joy made a pattern out of gumdrops on the roof.
Fear carefully placed a peppermint candy above the 'door'.
Sadness added extra frosting to make it look like icicles.
Anger took a pair of candy canes and placed them on the door.
A few minutes later, Disgust came back, her hair slightly wet from having taken a quick shower.
Instead of her usual green dress, she wore a green tunic belted at the waist, black leggings, and her ballet flats.
"Disgust! There you are! We were just about...done..." Joy trailed off with her sentence as the gingerbread house caved in.
Sadness looked disappointed.
Disgust face palmed.
"You put it up wrong." She strolled over to the collapsed house and adjusted the pieces to make them stay.
Fear readjusted the slided candies to make the house look better.
"There!" Anger announced.
It was finally done.
