And then all the air rushed out of his body and was replaced with a terrible blinding pain. And suddenly his knees buckled and his head met concrete. Concrete that should have felt rough and cold, yet to him had no feeling at all.

And then he realized that he was choking. That he couldn't breath and his shaking hands clutched at his chest, his throat and all the while his mouth hung open waiting, begging, desperate for oxygen. And he felt like he was dying.

And that's when he stopped, because he felt like dying and they had died and he couldn't die yet.

He would kill them.
