Hello again everyone! So, I'm still sorting out the full story plan, but I have enough of a framework to give you this small trailer! This doesn't mean the story is guaranteed to start coming out soon after. It may do though... depends how well planning goes and how I feel. I am excited to get it underway though.

Thunder rumbles, accompanied by the constant drum of rain against the walls of a grand and imposing structure. A flash of lightning reveals the logo of the building, known as 'New Beacon.' Above the writing is a symbol; the logo of each of the four kingdoms of Remnant. The double axes of Vale on the top, to the right are the three swords of Vacuo, the spear of Atlas is on the bottom and the shield of Mistral taking up the final spot. All are united in one circle, with a large 'X' placed in the centre of them all.

The shot moves inside to a dorm room. As the storm continues to rage outside, we can make out four figures sleeping peacefully on a pair of bunk beds. Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna on one, the former drooling with a goofy smile on her face, while the other sleeps peacefully. The other has Weiss Schnee on the bottom bunk, rolled onto one side and breathing softly.

On the top bunk, is Ruby Rose. Her sleep appears more disturbed as she twitches frequently, groaning and tossing and turning in her bed. The camera zooms in on her and we hear a voice echo from the the emptiness.

"Ruby..."

The screen cuts to black before the image fades back in, showing a peaceful city scene. Citizens are going about their daily business, driving to their destinations, shopping in markets, chatting to others and enjoying the beautiful and calm setting.

"I've always been with you, watching over you since the day I left. I've seen you take this once brutal and savage world and help build it into a paradise, the likes I could only dream of."

The shot now shows the members of Team RWBY, JNPR and their friends X, Zero and Axl sitting on a hill overlooking the city. They all have contented looks on their faces, just enjoying the view and the peace.

"You've made friends and allies that will stay with you for the rest of your life. People you can depend upon and count on to be there for you. You've given the people a world of light and joy, and I could not be prouder of you if I tried."

We move closer to Ruby, seeing her daydreaming as she watches on in delight, a wide smile gracing her young face. She is quickly snapped out of it though, as the distant rumble of an explosion is heard.

"But I must warn you, that although you have given this world light..."

Ruby and her friends all turn to look at the source of the explosion. The camera cuts to another distant city and the friends watch in horror as a gigantic, humanoid robot arises from the centre of the city. It is at least three stories tall, and the sounds of distant screaming and sirens fill the air. We zoom in on Ruby with a look of terror on her face, to the point that only her eye is visible.

"There are those who will try to extinguish it."

Though not immediately obvious, we can tell that the background has changed though the shot still only shows a close up of Ruby's eye. It suddenly changes as we see Ruby running through a burning city, gasping for breath as shots whizz past and impact the ground around her. She flings herself forward, diving behind a destroyed car underneath a bridge. Holding Crescent Rose tightly, she peers around the side of the cover to see the enemy.

Purple and pink armour plated Reploids are rampaging through the streets, shooting their arm busters wildly and sending citizens running and screaming for their lives. There are also two more distinct looking enemies present.

The first is a young boy in what can only be described as ninja like garb. He has a black, skintight body covering with purple boots, purple three quarter lengths and a purple and gold, body warmer style vest. On each wrist he has a thick golden band of sorts. Around his neck is a tattered red scarf that flaps in the wind and ensuring his mouth is covered. All this does is accentuate his small, purple irises and sharp, spiky black hair.

The other is a young woman with two tone spiky hair consisting mostly of brown with a vibrant orange fringe. She has a fierce expression, thick eyebrows and burning red eyes. She too has a similar attire to the other but her vest is coloured orange, as are her feet, and instead of three quarter lengths, she dons a pair of white combat trousers held on with a thick belt. On each arm she wields a large orange cannon, the design of which has two protective parts covering each arm with the barrel in the centre of each cannon.

The first enemy crosses his arms over and summons a barrage of shurikens in front of himself. Flinging his arms out, he sends the projectiles flying in all directions. His ally joins in, charging up one of her cannons and firing a powerful explosive shot directly at the bridge!

Ruby shields her eyes from the blast as the area around her shakes from the impact. Looking up, she just manages to see the bridge falling towards her and rolls aside. Still panting for breath, she tries to get back up, only for the two enemies to land in front of her! The female enemy grins evilly at her as the scene changes.

"I never planned for all this to happen."

We cut to the skyline of the city, smoke rising from it as the battle continues to rage far below. Through the sky, a boy clad in green Reploid armour flies by. He has silver hair that covers his right eye and upon his back are two green extensions with pink jets coming out of them, his method of flight. In each hand, he wields a glowing, short, pink sabre. Crossing them over as he swings them, he sends out an X shaped energy wave at an unseen opponent.

Quickly, the boy starts strafing as several rapid fire energy bullets come towards him. We now see that Axl is the one firing upon the boy with his dual pistols. The two encircle each other, dodging the fire from each other for a few moments, until the green armoured boy flies straight at Axl. With a quick swipe of his blades, he knocks both pistols from Axl's grasp, sending the weapons falling to the ground far below.

Axl is surprised by this but does not give up. Instead, he flies to meet the boy halfway and engage in a close combat fight. He spins towards the camera which cuts to another shot just before the two start the engagement.

"I was only following orders."

The next shot is of the New Beacon command room. It is a flurry of activity as we see Glynda Goodwitch with a headset on, issuing orders to someone, though we cannot hear what she says. The camera pans to the side as we see Winter Schnee in the commanders chair, pointing out instructions as she sits in front of a giant monitor with the Remnant ruling council in constant communication with her. Frustrated with the situation, she turns away from her superiors and grits her teeth.

"When I broke them, it was to do what I thought was right."

The next shot change shows us Zero, Weiss and Yang charging towards us. Between us and them is a large crowd of enemies. Without hesitation, they begin slicing their way through them. Parts and scrap flies everywhere as both Weiss and Zero cut through the enemies like they were training dummies. One larger enemy tries to grab Weiss from behind, only for a flaming fist to punch a hole right through it. As the enemy fall, the camera focuses on the faces of the three heroes, all looking steeled and ready for the next battle.

"Yet... even a selfless act has brought consequences."

The camera cuts to Team JNPR, all walking out of new Beacon towards the battlefield, weapons at the ready with different expressions on their faces. Nora seems eager for battle and ready to go, while Ren seems to be more passive and calm. Though Pyrrha is still prepared to fight, she has a more troubled look on her face as the scale of the destruction becomes apparent. She looks over to Jaune who has a veiled anger on his face because of the innocent people being attacked. He draws his sword and the four charge towards the battlefield.

A final location change shows Ruby shielding herself with her weapon as best she can, though it is clearly ineffective. She is defending herself from a blizzard as sharp shards of ice tear through her clothes and lower her aura.

"Consequences that you and your friends now suffer. Even if this was not your fight! Now you are paying the price for what I... what we did wrong..."

Her attacker is another boy dressed in similar style to the previous ones. His colour theme is blue with a hoodie of that colour being the obvious feature. He also has a pair of white trousers on, though more tight fitting than his orange comrades. He has short blue hair with a large, single strand standing upright. He wields a double ended halberd with energy blades on each end. Spinning the weapon, he creates the blizzard effect that is being used on Ruby.

Ruby is blown back and thuds down against the concrete. Struggling to get back up, she sees X and Blake moving in front of her path, trying to provide cover and allow her to get back to her feet. Though she is unable to hear anything over the sound of the blizzard, it is clear they are encouraging her to stand up and fight.

Spurred on, she rises and aims Crescent Rose at the enemy. Blake aims her pistols and X charges up his buster as well. In unison, the trio fire their weapons, sending a powerful shot at their enemy which explodes spectacularly on impact. Their enemy retreats, leaving nothing behind but a smoking crater where he once stood.

"Be strong..."

The three watch as the attackers retreat, along with the giant robot that started the disaster. Their friends arrive just in time to see the enemy flee, as the camera zooms in on Ruby's face once more, though much more battered and scarred as a result of the battle.

"Be prepared..."

We cut back to Ruby, her sleep even more disturbed as she moans audibly and turns frantically within her duvet. Her eyes shoot open with small pupils as she hears the voices words.

"For he is coming."

A lightning flash and rumble of thunder signal the end of the dream. Ruby shoots upright in bed, her body dripping with sweat and her breathing fast and panicked. Looking around the room, she realises it was a dream and tries to calm herself. Her breathing slows down to normal as she turns an looks at her teammates, all sleeping peacefully. Satisfied, yet reluctantly, Ruby goes back under the duvet and falls into slumber again.

The camera now moves over to the window as the rain rattles down against it. Another flash of lighting and rumble of thunder is heard and, for a brief second, something appears in the window reflection.

A black face mask with red decorative lines upon the front of it, glowing in the darkness. As it fades, we hear a low, rumbling voice.

"WE...SHALL HAVE...VENGEANCE!"
