It was a cloudy day, and Lag looked up as he thought it would rain.

Lag walked out of Sylvette's house, for he had a new mission. Following close behind was Niche, and Steak.

Lag said goodbye to Sylvette, and set off. They walked for a day, and glady they did not get caught up in any gaichuus. It was a easy trip.

Then, the sky became darker, and it slowly started to drizzle. Lag quickly searched for the nearest shelter which was under a big tree. They quickly dried off, and ate some of the food, that Sylvette made for them.

Then, they fell asleep. Lag felt something licking his finger. So, he woke up. He looked at his hand, and saw a small, muddy dog lying next to his hand.

Lag quickly took out some bread, and fed the poor puppy. The puppy instantly, became very attached to Lag.

When Niche woke up, she was not happy to see the puppy loved by Lag. She wanted to be Lag's no. 1. So obviously, she felt very jealous of the puppy who got all of his attention.

Niche did many things to get Lag's attention. She tried to be very helpful, but it didnt work. Lag's attention was still on the puppy. So, out of stubborness, she grabbed onto Lag's left leg and held on tightly. Lag was very confused. But, knew something was wrong.

So he told her that it'll be alright. Seeing Lag's face so close to her own, made her loose strength and loosen her grip. Lag started walking again. However, Lag continued to show more attention to the puppy.

Since Lag met the puppy when he was all muddy, Lag decided to name him Mud. Mud wouldnt leave Lag, so he decided to keep him.

Poor Niche felt alone, as she saw Lag holding onto Mud. This feeling of sadness quickly turned to anger. Niche pulled Mud away from Lag's arms and pushed him to the ground. Lag was surprised that Niche would do this. Lag quickly went to mud's side, and checked if he had any injuries. Then, as Niche was about to apologize, Lag slapped her across the face, and told her to never do that again.

Niche held back her tears as hard as possible. Lag didnt understand her. She turned around and quickly ran away. Niche kept running and running, until she realized that she was lost. However, Steak was still with her on her head.

Lag and Mud, searched around the area for Niche. When Mud spotted her, he barked loudly. Then, suddenly, a huge gaichuu showed up, and traped Mud.

Steak noticed Mud, and told Niche to quickly save him. However, Niche hesitated, and thought. If she saved him, she would feel lonely, and left out again.

But if Mud were to die, then Lag would feel sad.

So for Lag's happiness, Niche headed towards the gaichuu, and picked up Steak, lifting him high up. She loudly screamed at the gaichuu ; "Will you take this delicious meat, instead of Mud? I promise you, he will be very delicious."

From hearing this, Steak started to sweat non-stop. Then. Niche told him "dont be afraid. Your sacrifice will forever be rememered."

Steak builds up, his courage and sprinkles some pepper on top of his head, in order to make himself look more appetizing. However, Steak was instantly rejected by the gaichuu, as it lifted it's arm and pushed away poor Steak.

Then, the gaichuu, went back to feed on it's prey. Niche quickly runs underneath, and protects Mud from the gaichuu's mouth with her hair.

This would stall the gaichuu, but not forever. The gaichuu pushed forward with all it's might, putting more and more pressure on Niche.

Then, Lag ran up and shot his

Shindan at the gaichuu. The gaichuu dissappeared! Niche and Mud was saved!

After this incident, Mud became very attached to Niche, and Niche gave him all her attention. This, made Steak VERY jealous.
